Perspectives – 20 Years of a Changing Berlin
Central Info Stairs at Berlin Hauptbahnhof
The 2009 theme year has begun on 28 January with the opening of a permanent info box in form of stairs at Potsdamer Platz. By now, the red info stairs has moved to Washingtonplatz in front of Berlin Hauptbahnhof. In addition to offering unique perspectives from an accessible roof, it provides information on the tour of the mobile info box around the various sites where key changes have occurred within the last 20 years.
The development of these sites can be explored in the stairs via hands-on means; films and information of various types depict the changes in Berlin since the fall of the Wall.
